With a question of his own

Several seconds went by without Tommy saying anything, and Sharon looked at his face to see that he seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

“I shouldn’t have told you,” Sharon blurted out as Tommy’s silence caused her to panic, “I wasn’t going to until after you came back, I… I…”

“Sharon, please.” Tommy interrupted her rambling, although the sternness in his voice was counterweighed to some extent by him pulling her closer.

“What are we?” He finally asked, having kept quiet for a little while longer.

“Tommy…”

“No, seriously, a couple of hours ago you were still a cute… no, make that a very cute friend of my brother. And if you got crushes on those two, then how do you feel about me?”

“Tommy, I don’t know if I can say…”

“Just do it, please.”

“Promise you won’t laugh.” Sharon felt her cheeks get a little warmer.

“I won’t.”

“Okay,” Sharon bit her lip and gathered up a little strength before she heard herself blurt out “I love you.”

More startled by what she had just admitted than Tommy, Sharon didn’t know whether to be elated or terrified during the silence that followed, but then she felt him pull her up on top of him before offering her a surprisingly chaste kiss, using no tongue as he gently stroked the back of her head.

“Look,” Tommy began once the kiss was over and Sharon was resting her head on his shoulder, “you could have gone behind my back with all that but you didn’t, and I love you for it. Well, not only for that…”

“Tommy, I…” Having buried her face against Tommy shoulder, Sharon looked up as though she wanted to make sure that he wasn’t subjecting her to a cruel joke.

“Shhhh,” Tommy hushed Sharon, “and if getting that out of your system is something that you feel like you have to do, then I can’t stop you.”

“I don’t deserve you.” Sharon declared, and meant it.

“No, probably not.” Tommy’s grin resulted in Sharon slapping him on the chest, to which he responded by playfully smacking his hand against her ass.

“You really love me?” Sharon held her head over Tommy’s and looked him straight in the eyes, her heart skipping a beat when she noticed that her question didn’t even bring the weakest of flinches from him.

Tommy again placed his hand on the back of Sharon’s held and pulled her down to kiss her in a very unchaste way, his tongue darting into her mouth while his hands slid across her back all the way down to her ass.

Before Sharon knew it, she was on her side again, retaining her lip-lock with Tommy and kissing him back without any inhibitions while gently bucking her hips against him.

“You know we’re supposed to take things slow?” Sharon found herself back on top of Tommy when their kiss ended, “Well, now that we’ve come out and said that we love each other, is that really still necessary?”

Tommy could count himself fortunate that he was already lying down, because the warm, seductive look that Sharon sent made him go all weak at the knees.
