Wish Adviser Kasumi

"Oh, my. So, you're asking me if you had only one wish from a genie, what should that wish be, is that right, Ranma? What an interesting game." Kasumi paused from making supper to talk with the boy - then had to pause in her answering as she was afraid the meat she was browning might be burning.

Meanwhile, Ranma was sampling some of the sukiyaki ingredients. "Well, Ranma...," Kasumi said, returning her attention to their houseguest. "how about wishing for a cornucopia? It would help keep our expenses down."

"Cornucopia?" Wasn't that something that an ending supply of food came out of? Tempting!

But, no! "I want my curse gone!"

"Then wish that you didn't think of it as a curse, but a blessing. That would be the simplest magic, wouldn't it? Didn't you say the wish has to obey the Law of Conservation of Magick? It prefers to take the Path of Least Resistance."

"No, Kasumi! That would I wouldn't mind bein' a girl! What if I liked bein' a girl better than a guy!?"

"You wouldn't care if you did."

"Exactly! I want the curse GONE!"

"Ranma's trying to be rid of his curse, again?" Nabiki came into the kitchen. "If I had my calculator with me, I could tell you how many times you've tried. And failed."

"Now, Nabiki, this is just a game Ranma has me playing. Though she does have a point, Ranma. Perhaps you shouldn't have tried to get rid of the poor girl. I feel sorry for the Chinese girl who drowned 1500 years ago. Perhaps, if you could just wish she is separate from you. She can have her own body back and you would stay a male."

"Kasumi, didn't you see Disney's "Aladdin"? If you bring back the dead that makes them zombies."

"Nabiki, didn't you see Toei's "Sailor Moon"? The dead are reincarnated. All Ranma's genie would have to do is give the body back to the soul it rightfully belongs to."
