Why not ask?

After a moment of mulling it over, you decide: Fuck it. This train ride is coming to a stop pretty soon and it's not like this choice will have any impact.. Working up the nerve to ask him, you clear your throat to catch Rover's attention, causing him to look over at you. "What's up, ENTERANAME? Got a question about MapleBay?" you shake your head, smiling nervously and taking a short breath to steady yourself before speaking quickly, asking rover how he.. feels about you..

At first, Rover seems oblivious, making you doubt he has any sort of strong feelings towards you, but after processing it a couple times, he seems to get what you mean, bringing the faintest blush to his face.. "Well uh, that's a bold question, ENTERANAME.." he gives a sheepish laugh, rubbing the back of his head. "I mean, we've only just met, but, I must admit you have a pleasant glow about you.." he smiles, already able to tell how weird that sounded.

Realizing he might be too far ahead, Rover waves a hand dismissively "I-i uh, I mean, I'm sure we could be great friends, in time.. but i'm not really.. looking for anyone special right now.." he nods, reaffirming his stance. You simply nod back, glad to have that awkwardness out of the way, and silently look out the window, at least a little disappointed.
