"My name is Kwame Kompoko, and we are Bongo Kongo," the singer announced after their first song. "It is such a pleasure to be here in Dublin for the first time, to see so many people here tonight. Black and white people, here together, it is a joy." The audience applauded in appreciation. "And we would like to thank our opening act, Aisling Fitzpatrick..."

The crowd roared appreciatively as a pretty young woman dressed in a pleated skirt and formal blouse waved shyly from beside the stage.

"She's the pride of Dublin, a wonderful young musician and very sexy, too!" Kwame said as she blushed and laughed along with the crowd. "Let's have her up her to play with us!" She reluctantly climbed the stairs and embraced a waiting Kwame, before waving once more to the cheering crowd. The band launched into a thundering song, as Aisling tried to keep up on her fiddle. After a minute, the tempo shifted and she launched into a scorching solo, the crowd cheering their own effusively.

Kwame watched with approval. "We'll have to take her with us...!" he observed, watching her chest heave as she played.
