"That doesn't count. Helen and I gave you one right back." I countered, looking over to Helen, who nodded with a quick motion.

"Yeah, totally. Sorry, Kaila, but you can't call that one in as a favor." Helen picked up her plate and reached across to grab mine. "Now if one of you two were to say... do the dishes..."

"So, no points there... So, you still have seven miles to go..." I grinned. Helen grabbed the last two dishes and began moving towards the sink.

"Husbandly duties?" Kaila ventured.

"Six miles, fine." I conceded.

"What does you and me in bed for a few hours when you get back get me?" Kaila smiled, trying another tactic.

"Another mile down the road." I grinned. "You're getting closer. I can see the Gas station from here. Speaking of which, have I passed the Van yet?"

"Yes, It's about two miles down the road. We got it to the shoulder, no problem. I did remember to lock it." Kaila got practical for a second, before instantly snapping back to her sultry expression. "And I make dinner?"

"And I'm at the station. Now, Who's going to carry this back?" I grinned, Leaning my head forward on my Chin.

"Well, YOU can't get back if you don't fill up the van with Gas, so I figure getting you to the station is all I need to do." Kaila smirked.

"Well, what if I want to take him on an 8 mile hike?" Helen retorted over her shoulder as I heard the sound of dishes being rinsed. "Why do you get first dibs when I was the one who brought it up first?"

"Are you two gangin' up on her?" Charlotte asked, rather incredulously.

"Sorrah, ah we 'torcha'ing tha poor gal?" Helen mimicked Charlotte's accent broadly.

"Arrgh... Ok, Helen, what would it take to convince you to not take him on a hike?" Kaila rolled her eyes and looked at Helen with a mischievous smile.

"Well if Brent will spot me two miles..." Helen laughed.

"Two miles?" I asked, trying to follow what she was saying.

"Well, look dumbass, if you want to walk two miles AFTER you fill up the van with gas, you're paying for it." Helen pointed out. "But I'm not going to owe you for it."

"Right..." I realized, doing the math. "Ok, sure, 2 miles, but it's going to be lonely as heck."

"Well, what if ah go with you and that way ah don't owe you anythang." Charlotte smirked. "These two can play... what did you call it darlin? Grab-ass?" She directed the last taunt to Helen, before turning back to me with a smirk. "And you and Ah can talk a bit, cuz if Ah heah one more storah about corporate executives gettin' drunk..." She turned to Kaila with an apologetic shrug.
