What an entrance!

Finally, well after all the hundred plus guests arrived, Lauren appeared at the top of the wrap around staircase. She stunned the crowd into a hushed silence. Even her sister and mother bitterly had to admit, she looked amazing. Her silver and baby blue gown shown under the lights. She wore white elbow length gloves, a large, jewled necklace and high heels laced with finery. Her skin was a bit tanner, a cool rich color that showed on her collarbones, face and arms. Her makeup was immaculate, the result of almost five hours of work. Her hair had taken even longer, and was done up in an elaborate bun with a jeweled tiara upon it. She looked more fine and wealthy then actual royalty.

Lauren glided down the stairs. She felt everyone's stunned eyes on her, and smiled. Her sister's bitter glares made her smile all the more. Even Kyle was staring up at her in stunned awe. She felt on top of the world as she glided down the stairs and joined the party...
