What If...Betty Ross Became The Hulk (And Couldn't Fit Into Any Clothes?)

"Doctor Bruce Banner, fueled by his rage within and gamma radiation. One of Earth's mightiest heroes, gladiator of Sakaar and the one to undo Thanos' snap. However, that is but one reality." Uatu narrated.

"Bruce, are you sure about this? Surely there's another way-" Betty Ross urged him. "Hey, I'm the one who's the expert on all things gamma, remember? It's the only way." He reassured her as he sat in the device to bombard him with radiation. If this worked, it would activate the super soldier formula running through his veins. And if it didn't....

It wasn't long before the signs of the device's malfunction became apparent to Bruce. And to Betty just outside the room, safely shielded from the gamma rays. Ignoring her own safety, she ran in as the device exploded, badly injuring Bruce, and showering Betty with gamma and debris.

Betty awoke in the hospital, however she'd never felt better. "Where's Bruce?" She asked a doctor as she shot up. "I'm sorry but he... didn't make it. He saved your life however. You lost a lot of blood, luckily he was a perfect match." The doctor explained.

Bruce.....no....

Betty couldn't believe what she was hearing. Tears swelled in her eyes and she gripped the sheets of the hospital bed in clinched fists.

That's when it happened.

That's the moment that Betty Ross became The Hulk.
