Well...

As Shayera watched you, she noticed that Galatea was having difficulty breathing... Not that it wasn't tempting to put her down, but you and she are heroes, and true heroes are supposed to value life. Even villains... So she takes off into the air to gather momentum, then she flies through the window! The sound of breaking glass got your attention.

"Shadow, let her go," she said sternly. Tea took advantage of the distraction to charge up her lasers again. Hawkgirl caught notice and threw her mace at Tea's head! It clanged softly and bashed into her face, broke a hole in the wall and fell to the floor.

As she went to retrieve her mace, you grabbed her wrist! "What are you doing?" She saw that the pupils of your eyes were small, like a jungle cat's. "Shad?" You growl at her like a tiger about to get his next meal... "Snap out of it. It's Hawkgirl." In her case, this would be the second time someone she knew wasn't in their right mind. She just hoped she wouldn't have to put you down, too.

Shayera got defensive as for a split second, she saw that the chains used to hold you down were cut! But then, she actually walked calmly towards you, prompting you to walk backwards. "It's all right," she softly told you, secretly having a flashback to when this happened before. When you backed into the door, you bore your claws, communicating to her to 'back off!' She scrunched her eyebrows lightly and then slapped you!

"Hey! What was that for?!" Hawkgirl grinned from how you protested, indicating you were you again.

"Welcome back. Sorry about that. I just needed you to act your species." You shook your head with a smirk, getting that you had gone savage somehow... She watched as you gathered your senses, the where and the what. You saw that Tea was ****, and Shayera's Nth metal mace lay before her.

"Did you save me?" you ask.

"Uh-uh. Somehow, you got yourself out of those chains. Did your claws somehow cut through?" You looked at them, then tested their strength by sawing them on the chains. It stole a bit of your energy, and you barely made it past the surface when you finished.

"I guess n--" Then you looked as though you had a revelation; your face lit up with a happy smile. "I remember!" And the whole scene played out in your memory, as though you watched it like a movie:

"When I was keeping Tea distracted, I thought about how badly I needed a blade, but there wasn't any in reach. Then something appeared in my hand: a dagger! A light blue dagger. I used it to free myself before I blacked out."

"It must've disappeared or something after I got out." Shayera found that story with some holes, but they had other things to worry about. Like dragging Galatea to a special jail.
