We go to Panera Bread

I got to sleep in my old bedroom which was nice, although the decore was not my style anymore. I was the first to wake up on this Saturday morning, and decided to go get some coffee from Dunkin' for the three of us.

As i arrived back home, walked into the kitchen and saw mom reading a book. Emma was doing dishes. It was quiet, but then i saw they both had earbuds in. Once they saw me, they greeted me and emma went back to the dishes.

"How come you never talk about a girlfriend? Mom asked

"How come you never talk about a boyfriend?" I respond with a grin.

She takes a second with a big smile...

"Fair enough. But youre handsome, surely the ladies are interested. You got your eye on anyone?" She added

"Mom... im no good at picking up women. So, i just stick to school and work. " I say with a hint of sadness.

I can tell she's thinking. And i hope she doesnt know someone she is gonna try to set me up with.

"Lets go to lunch. Just the two of us. We havent done that in a long time!" She exclaims.

" Sure. Just dint invite anyone. I mean it!" I say demanding.

"Fine fine. Its just us i promise. " she adds.

When we sit down in the outdoor patio at the restaurant, we talk about work and school and Emma and all things under the sun. Then, shes asks me to do something... my heart froze.

" You see that really pretty woman right there?" She asks

I turn a bit and see the stunning beautiful woman she points at and say, " Yeah, what about her?"

"Go over and give her a compliment, and then just walk away. " she adds

"No way. I can't. Im a nervous wreck. If she says no..." i say before she cuts me off.

"She cant say no. Youre not asking anything. And you will do it or ill kiss you right now. Right here in front of everyone. " she says with a mischievous grin.
