Watch Game Shows Instead

We can’t seem to agree on a game. After about 10 minutes of debating we decided to give up and watch TV instead. I turn on the TV and we are immediately greeted to the familiar theme of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” On this episode the contestant is a famous actress.

“What on Earth could she want with more money?” I ask.

“I think wealthy people like this play for charity.” My mother in law answers. “If they win they’ll donate the money to a charity of their choosing.”

“Hey, that sounds fun.” I say. “Why don’t we play along? We can answer questions before the contestant does. Whoever gets the most wrong loses.”

She ponders a moment and says with a coy smile, “While that does sound fun, let’s try to make this more interesting. Whoever loses has to make a donation of the winner’s choosing.”

“Deal!”
