Yabusa Robotics and Motors had always been behind Hideki Technology's innovative devices, but a new breakthrough in a non-surgical means of combining robots and people changed the course of the tech company almost overnight. With Phase Binding, skin and silicon can exist in the same area in space, miraculously developing a means of electronic and biological connections with intuitive control and unprecedented sensory feedback. Because the people and machines can occupy the same space without any ill effects, the functionality of the machines was maximized without diminishing the human within. Despite Yabusa's initial successes with combining people and robots, other companies set their sights on the tech. Shaw Sciences wants to stick people together, Hideki Corp would like to combine people and inhuman creatures together, and King Enterprises has a whole variety of supernatural relics they want to embed within a person.
