Walkies

Jessie turned off her phone and got up from the couch, walking out of the room for a brief second. Lauren looked up in confusion, tilting her head as she continued to chew on the toy. Inside, Lauren was a bit more concerned with what Jessie had planned.

A few seconds later, Jessie walked back into the room with something in her hands behind her back. She then removed them from behind her back, revealing a bright pink leash to Lauren. “Does puppy want to go walkies?” she asked in that annoying baby talk again.

Inside, Lauren was screaming every variation of the word “No” that she could think of, throwing in a few obscenities for good measure. Outside, however, Lauren happily barked and panted, dropping the toy as she wiggled her butt.

Jessie laughed as she approached Lauren and attached the leash to her collar. Lauren looked up happily at Jessie as she panted, but inside she was desperately wanting to know just what Jessie was going to do next. She figured that Jessie would be taking her for a walk, but where?
