Dani wakes up the next morning and immediately regrets it. It feels like someone is trying to crush her head in a vise. And for some reason she's really warm. Oh wait - did Chad bring her home last night?
Chad gets a less pleasant awakening. Dani shakes him until he moans, then asks him "Did we have sex last night? Chad?"
Chad didn't have nearly as much to drink last night, but his head is still sore and it takes a while for him to answer. "Ugh, yeah. We did."
"Shit. Shit. Shit! I don't want people to start thinking I'm a slut."
"I think everyone at the party was having a good time."
"Some of them will remember. I'll get looks next time from some of them." After a few moments thinking through the fog she asks "Wait, did you use a condom last night?" Then she reaches down and feels for herself. "Aw no, no, no, no, no. I can't get pregnant!"
"You said it was OK."
Dani sits up and starts panicking. "I said it was OK! FUCK!!! I can't get knocked up at 19! I said it was OK!?! I was drunk, I . . ." She stops suddenly and flops back onto the bed. "Oh thank God. My period should start tomorrow. It really was safe. Phew."
She rolls on her side and looks at Chad. "Well I, er, sorry for going off like that. There's some coffee, if you want."
"Maybe later, but if that clock's right I have to get going."
"OK"
Chad gets up and begins to dress. Dani remains on the bed, not doing too much to cover up. As he's about to leave she asks "Was it good?"
"What, last night? It was better than good, it was amazing."
Dani stays still for a second, then sits up and stretches, allowing the sheets to fall away from her body. "See you at the next party?"
"Definitely."
