Vanessa rekindles her Greek life

You approach the Delta Kappa Phi house, its white columns gleaming in the afternoon sun. The front door is open, music and laughter spilling out onto the porch where a few girls lounge in cutoff shorts and bikini tops, sipping from red Solo cups. They look up as you climb the steps, curiosity and appreciation in their eyes as they take in your confident stride, the way your jeans hug your curves.

Inside, the foyer is crowded with more sorority sisters, the air thick with perfume and chatter. You spot a familiar face by the stairs - Julia, a senior when you were a freshman, now in her mid-40s but still slim and tanned in a sundress. She breaks into a smile when she sees you.

"Vanessa! Oh my god, it's been ages!" She pulls you into a quick hug, her voice warm. "Welcome back, sister. We were so excited when we heard you were returning to campus. How are you settling in?"

As you catch up with Julia, a younger blonde wearing a "Rush Chair" sash approaches, her smile bright and assessing. "You must be Vanessa," she says, extending a manicured hand. "I'm Avery, the current president. We're thrilled to have one of our alumnae rejoining us. Why don't you come meet some of the new members?"

She leads you into the living room, where more girls are gathered around a table laden with drinks and snacks. Their conversation falters as you enter, eyes following you with interest. Avery makes introductions, each girl offering a smile and a "nice to meet you" as you shake hands.

One, a pretty brunette named Chloe, lingers after the others drift back to their conversations. "I heard you're the new RD at Westwood," she says, sipping her drink. "That must be...interesting. Lots of late-night calls?" Her tongue darts out to catch a drop of liquid on her lips.

Before you can reply, Avery claps her hands for attention. "Alright ladies, let's get this party started! Grab a drink and let's head out back. And Vanessa..." She turns to you with a mischievous grin. "Hope you're ready for some old-school Deltas hazing. We've got a special initiation planned just for you."
