Vanessa's dull

Chapter 3 by Daddylucien Daddylucien

Vanessa stood up and walked around the place a little, she looked herself at a full body mirror on the wall as she stretched arching her back, she didn't knew why it was mirror on a bookstore, maybe it was from the business that was run in this place before it was a bookstore and nobody removed it, maybe way back her boss thought it was a good idea to put a mirror there, she didn't put much though at the matter she fixed her hair, today she had it in pony tail with two wisps of hair falling at the sides of her face, today she chose to wear a simple linen shirt and jeans with a common letter belt and ankle boots,

Added to this was a slight makeup that she learned from a YouTube tutorial that together with her outfit and her natural beauty made her look so beautiful that if someone entered to the store by accident would have stayed there just to keep looking at her.

Today, maybe because of the loneliness of the place or maybe because she stayed too much time on the same position reading, she felt her body dull, extremely dull, the stretching helped her a little but her dullness persisted, she looked around for something that required some kind of physical effort to get rid of her dullness, then she remembered about the boxes of book in the backroom.

Her boss, that skinny, sharp nosed man all the time ordered new bundles of books, with the idea that maybe the ones in store were not good enough or trendy enough and that new one surely would bring more clients, thing that didn't happened, at least he wasn't there to see them failure of his plans and dispositions, most of the time he were on his walks, Vanessa regarded him not as a man that thinked then existed, but a man that walked and then existed, he walked everywhere all the time, no matter the distance of the place, Vanessa remembered that once he told her about a time when he walked from one city to another in order to visit a family friend of him, she was sure that when the moment of his death were to come to him, he was going to die walking, and maybe even walk to his own funeral.
