Despite some serious concerns you follow Curtiss into a small room. Monitors are all over the wall. The center screen comes on.

Curtiss looks at you, his eyes boring deep. “I’m afraid we don’t trust our scientists, with unethical this and monstrous that. We like to make sure we have some leverage. You’ll notice your daughter.”

“Oh my god! Renna!”

“Not to worry. So long as you are an asset for the company, we will keep her quite safe. Of course, if you aren’t...well accidents do happen.”

“Yes, quite. Now that we have that out of the way, why don’t I show you what you’ll be working on. Well that is assuming you ever want to see your daughter again.”

You pause. He means it. You have little choice but to play along for now.
