Curtiss pulls out a dram filled with gray colored pills.

“We’ve been working hard on these. They’re a pain relieving supplement.”

“What’s the problem with them?”

“Delivery issue. They only last for about an hour. Try one.”

“Are they safe?”

“All natural.”

You laugh. “That didn’t answer my question.”

“We have a clinical study showing they are safe.”

Curtiss grabs the dram and pulls out a pill. He pops it in his mouth and swallows.

“We wouldn’t have gone to such lengths recruiting you to poison you on your first day. Have one.”

You pull one out. It is chalky and gray. You give it a sniff and note that it’s odorless. You open your mouth and swallow it.
