Uh-oh, where did Paige go?

Nova didn't hang around too long before making her way back to her bedroom to unwrap her birthday present to herself. This was as much due to her inability to delay any kind of pleasure for long and partly due to the horrifying thought of her mother finding Paige before she got back.

Back in her house, Nova paced quickly up the stairs and opened her bedroom door in gleeful anticipation of her cheerleader treat. But there was nobody there. Shit, that wasn't good! Nova tried looking in her closet and under her bed, but there was really nowhere in her room a full sized cheerleader could have been mislaid. Had her Mom found her already? Maybe she had ended up in some other part of the house in front of another family member. It was at this point Nova figured she should probably have practiced something as tricky as teleportation spells at least a little before using one on an acquaintance. Well, it was too late now.

Nova left the bedroom and found her sister in the hallway.

"Oh hey Nova. Happy birthday" Marina greeted her somewhat flatly.

"Oh, yeah, thanks. Um, have you seen Paige from next door?"

"What here?" Marina was clearly taken aback by the question "I didn't know you two were friends."

"We're getting to know each other. She was supposed to be waiting for me in my room but she isn't there" Nova managed to explain without technically lying.

Marina eyed her sister with a degree of suspicion before deciding she couldn't be bothered to investigate any further.

"Well, no I haven't seen her anywhere" the younger sibling shrugged before heading back to her room.

At was at this point Nova started to become a little concerned. If Paige wasn't here where the fuck had she sent her? Was she going have to spend the rest of her birthday tracking her down? The witcg also couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty about the position she had put her neighbour in. A beautiful living, human mannequin in a hot cheerleader costume could be seriously taken advantage of if she fell into the wrong hands.
