Tyra goes to check what it is

Tyra gingerly goes down a few steps to investigate the substance. Perhaps it holds the key to figuring out how to open a new door of some sort.

Tyra bends down, and grabs a handful of the black substance, before letting it run down from between her fingers. It flutters and scatters, and leaves some smudges on her hand: It’s ash, including some small snippets of materials that weren’t entirely burned.

”This stuff’s ash.”

-“What got burned I wonder?” Diana replies.

Suddenly there is a crackling noise as a shimmering wall of some sort of blue substance appears in between Diana and Tyra, locking Tyra in the room. Diana reaches out with a finger at the see-through material, and it’s cold to the touch.

Next there is a roaring blazing noise in the chamber, and Tyra can feel the heat against her back. She spins around to face the source, coming face-to-face with a large fire elemental that is just coalescing from the ether into a vaguely humanoid shape, made entirely of fire and flame.
