Onwards

The hallway ends at a T-intersection, but as they glance around both corners they see both sides simply reconnect again right around the next corner, and continue on into a new passage. This new passage runs for an additional 40-50 feet before terminating in a chamber, where a square section at the center of the floor is sunken down about 5 feet, with steps leading down into it from all four sides like an inverted pyramid.

”There’s no door through?” Tyra asks out loud.

-“It appears not.”

Tyra and Diana move closer, to the edge of the chamber and take a further peek inside. They now look into the recessed square, and spot a fine layer of blackish dust, piles of it haphazardly scattered all across the stones.
