Trying to pet a cute cat.

Ever since she was abandoned by her parents at birth, and fostered by the Kuzuryu Clan to be the perfect bodyguard, Peko's life has been nothing but training and loneliness, as a tool like her doesn't have a need for friends and relations other than to her master.

However, despite being used to it, she has always wanted someone or something to bond with, and since normal people are often intimidated by her, she often turns to cute animals to cure her loneliness.

Yet, they are too, intimidated by her, so, she hasn't had any luck on that regard.

But things are gonna be different now, because one day after class, Gundham decided to approach her with an offer.

"What do you want ?", Peko asked him.

"I've heard you want to be a beastmaster like me, correct ?", He replied.

"And ?", she replied back.

"Well, take a look at this", Gundham said as he opened a box to reveal a cute white kitten inside.

"T-that's..., so c-cute.., are you just going to give me this ?!", she said as she took a good look of the kitten.

"Yes, I don't need him anymore...", Gundham simply responded.

"But why ?, he's so fluffy!,", Replied Peko as she began to feel the kitten's fur with her hand.

"Because that dammed cat is nothing but the devil itself, I may be the greatest of all dark lords, but that... thing, is just too much for me!", he exclaimed.

"That sounds too harsh to be true", Peko replied.

"Yes it is, and I don't know what to with him, nobody wants to take it!!", he replied. "But since you are the Ultimate swordmaster, I trust that you will make use of him, either way, I'm out", he added, upon which, he left Hope's peak, leaving Peko and the cat alone.

"Well...., looks like it's just the two of us now, so....,", Peko said as she began to admire the cat.
