Try to sleep through it

Sitting in the plane was horrible, every little movement she did caused her diaper to crinkle which only made the experience of flying much worse; it was still also cramped, noisy, and worse of all Lauren had a rather large fear of flying which is why whenever she had to go out of state she'd always take a couch and accept the journey length being tripled. This only made Lauren more fidgety.

The Inflight safety demonstration began shortly, Lauren wasn't too familiar with this so was listening very intensively but again that only made things worse; hearing all the safety precautions taken made Lauren less and less confident that going on planes is safe. She began feel light headed and nauseous, tears slowly formed in her eyes as she tried holding them back. Tiffany seeing this smirked slightly before grabbing Laurens hand tightly and saying in a soothing voice, 'its ok little Laurie, your big older cousin is here to protect you when, I mean if [sorry] the plane comes hurtling out the sky. You have nothing to worry about.' Lauren didn't even react to the sly comments, she just continued to try and stay calm.

As the plane took off it just got worse, the rattling and shacking wasn't something Lauren was familiar with so she kept trying to stay calm by darting her eyes from out the window and around the plane which lead her to quickly notice Aunt Debbie had already put on a eye mask and was well asleep. It seemed like a good idea, when you're asleep you cannot be scared and the journey will go much faster and they'd land in no time at all.

So Lauren closed her eyes, took a few slow deep breaths to calm herself down, and tried to fall asleep; initially with little success but she eventually managed to relax enough that her mind drifted off to sleep.
