Try to return to the storage room

Anna didn't have many ideas. But she knew that the storage room still held Bella's skirt.

Anna presented her idea, "I think we should try to get back to the storage room and get our stuff back. I left your skirt in there."

"That's all you've got? We'll across the whole wing to get there," Bell complained.

"Then do you have a better idea?"

"Well, no..."

"Then let's get going before someone shows up."

The two girls got up and started heading towards the doors. Both of them awkwardly held their damp shirts in place over their lower halves. Anna pressed up carefully against the door. Cracking it open, she peered into the silent hallway. She opened the door further and motioned to Bella. The duo slipped out the large doors and started down the hallway.

While Anna carefully watched in front, Bella kept an eye out behind. Rounding the first corner, Anna's curiosity got the better of her, and she broke the silence, "Are you young for your grade?"

Bella shot Anna a spiteful glare, "So you think because I'm smaller and less endowed than you, I'm younger?" Bella looked down and sighed, "I'm 18. I started school a year late."

Anna felt a bit guilty she had asked, "Sorry, I didn't mean to get on your nerves."

The class bell roared through the hall, shocking the two girls to press back to back. Limited on options, they darted for the nearest doors. The large doors slowly shut behind them. As Anna raises her head, her eyes meet with that of the librarian. The desk by the door was enough to protect her decency, but how does she explain this?

"Just why are you two in such a hurry? And why are the two of you soaked?" The librarian interrogated.

Bella shot back without hesitation, "We have a book report and wanted to make sure we got here before anyone else to get the book we want. We took a shortcut outside to get here faster, but it was pouring."

The librarian was stunned at Bella's confidence. "W-well, just see that you don't get any of the books wet and we won't have any problems."

No sooner had the librarian returned to their menial task than the bottomless duo had fled further into the library. They hid behind some bookshelves while they planned their next move. The two girls may have failed to return to class, but bigger problems were on their minds. They still have ten minutes before the hallways will be clear again.
