Truth!

You shuffle in your seat, downing your entire goblet of wine before you begin "I probably shouldn't lie to Karisi..." you think yourself "She's here to help...so tell the truth and hopefully she helps me." you think

"I know somebody who was given to the Syndicate..." you begin "and even though I never told you..." your eyes shift to the ground, not wanting to look at Lady Karisi "I just...I just..." you reach over, grabbing the chalice that is filled with wine, topping off your goblet and taking another giant swing "I needed to find them. I needed to make sure they were safe. So after I didn't die in Nillix..." you swallow hard "I just thought...I just thought I would take that time off to find that person." your eyes move upwards, finally looking back into the glare of Karisi.

She didn't move a muscle, still staring at you, her body as still as a stone.

"Well..." you question her

Her body doesn't move, but her eyes slowly drift up and down your body, they look into your eyes, they look at your arms, your stomach, your legs "Interesting..." she mumbles to herself

"Well???" you ask "Will you help me?"

Her body doesn't move, as still as a rock. Your body waves back and forth as you shift on your hip in your chair, looking at the Lady of the house, hoping she will try her best to let you into the Castle. Her eyes burn a hole into yours, looking at you, staring at you, dwelling into you. It's at that point you see her take a deep breath through her mouth, releasing the air through her nose. Her eyes lighten up, not staring at you anymore, her body seems to get a lot less defensive.

"This somebody...that was given to the Syndicate..." Karisi begins "Tell me who He or She is!" she rumbles out.
