Xander sat at the library table with the book in front of him. He didn't open it yet. He needed a moment to think about Faith.

He felt like he did a good job of faking confidence, but the truth was that he wasn't sure how he would work a second Slayer in. But he was the Slayer Trainer. Just because there was more than one didn't change that.

Unfortunately, they were very different people. The trainings were very standard, but he got the impression they would have different takes on his approaches. Maybe not right away. But soon.

Well, he'd just have to deal with those problems when they arose. For the moment, he needed to start preparing the next training.

Slayers have a lot a of duties that go past patrol and fighting vampires. Sometimes Slayers need to gather information, materials, or other valuable assets. This task will frequently require more finese than your Slayer may be used to exhibiting. That is why it is so important to make sure she is thoroughly prepared for these situations. Your Slayer should not be held back from getting the information she needs to keep people safe. What she has to do might be unsavory, which is why it is important to drill it ahead of time.
