Where do you take your prisoner?
To the baths!
Once we were behind the city walls, Marcus greeted us with a smirk. "Shall I have her taken to the dungeons General Doe? Maybe have some of the men work her over a table?" He asked with a wink.
"No Marcus. She has been cooperative and I have reason to believe she is more valuable than a common prisoner. Ill give you the details later. For now, I need you to find someone who can translate this for us." I told him while handing him Alyis' note. "Tell no one of it and bring the translator to me before he, or anyone else, reads it."
"Yes sir!" Was Marcus' only response as he took the note while saluting before taking off into the city.
In turned to look at Alyis. "I can't take you to Olivia's house as filthy as you are." I pointed down a street toward the bath houses. "We will have to get you cleaned up and in more appropriate clothes." Alyis began to walk in the direction I indicated.
"Who is this Olivia you speak of Roman man?" She asked
"She is a priestess of the great goddess Venus. She is also kind enough to allow me to stay in her home while I am here in Tarraco. As her guest, any disrespect you show her is disrespectful of me and it will not be tolerated. " I said coldly. "Also, you can't keep calling me Roman man. My name is John Doe and, around others, you are to refer to me as general or sir. In private you may call me John ."
"If that is what you wish." Alyis accepted.
Shortly after, we arrived at the bath house.
Is it occupied? or are you alone with Alyis?
