To the Palace!

As the unlikely trio came in sight of the Palace, Edwin once more checked that Jennie was dead set on her wicked plan to ensure James the most humiliating punishment conceivable once they reached the Palace.

"Are you absolutely sure you want to go through with this Jen? It does seem a bit much. I mean, I'm sure they would humiliate quite enough without your intervention."

"You can handle it, can't you James?" Jennie winked mischievously.

"Let your no good excuse for a Queen and her feeble wizards do their worst!" James proclaimed boldly, though inside he was panicking that what was about to happen to him was bad enough for even the stern and unfriendly Edwin to be concerned.

"You know that isn't his real opinion!" the young mage huffed.

"Nobody will know the difference" Jennie shrugged "And besides, when was the last time we got to humiliate an outsider. An epic humiliation of a cocky outsider who disrespects our Queen might be just what people need to raise their morale during a difficult time for our county- who are we to deny them that?"

"You're all heart" Edwin deadpanned.

It was at that point the conversation was interrupted by a guard at the Palace gate "State your business!"

"We found an outsider" Edwin explained.

"One who seems full of contempt for the Queen and her wizards!" Jennie added wickedly.

"Well, I'm glad to hear it. It's been a long time since we had a full on no holds barred humiliation here" the guard sneered at James.

"Bring it on!" James replied with a smirk that couldn't have been a worse representation of how he was actually feeling.
