“I have to tell you something,” Brooke said. Dean looked up at her, “okay shoot.”

Brooke took a deep breath. “I’m pregnant.”

Brooke now had Dean’s full attention, “You’re what?” Dean asked, “I didn’t think that was even possi…” Dean stopped himself before he finished his sentence.

Dean had a vasectomy so the only reasonable answer to Brooke’s pregnancy was the Jack impregnated her.

Brooke knew what Dean was figuring out in his head. She stood there with a nervous look on her face.

Dean calmly looked at Brooke, “Get out.” Brooke was confused, “What?” She said. Dean raised his voice, “Get out! You’re pregnant with someone else’s child, we’re done.”

“Where am I supposed to go?” Brooke asked Dean. “I don’t give a shit.” Dean opened the front door. Brooke walked out the door with only the clothes on her back, she didn’t say another word. Dean slammed the door behind her. Dean knew this day was going to come where Brooke would no longer be in his life but he thought that would be later this year, not now and certainly not with her pregnant. He wasn’t going to raise someone else’s child.

Taylor arrived home hours after Dean found out Brooke was pregnant. He didn’t know what he was going to say to her or how to explain any of it.

Dean greeted Taylor at the door with a hug. She instantly knew something was wrong. “What’s the matter? Are you okay?” She asked. “Honey I’m sorry to tell you like this but your mom and I are getting divorced.” Dean said. He tried explaining it without details, that they had differences they couldn’t work out. “If you want detail you can ask your mother.” Dean said.

“Where is she?” Taylor asked. “I don’t know, she left, you could call her, I’m sorry to do this to you baby.” Dean said. Taylor was clearly upset, she ran up to her room to call her mother.

The next couple days we’re weird for Dean, Brooke wasn’t around any longer but at least he had his daughter to keep him company. He found out that Brooke didn’t give Taylor any details of what happened as of yet. Dean thinks she is probably too embarrassed about it and doesn’t know how to make herself not seem like the bad guy.

Taylor helped her Mom, Brooke get her stuff from Dean’s house when he was gone one day to save some awkwardness. Dean was relieved to come home and not see any of her things. Taylor told her Dad that Brooke has moved into her friends house but she hasn’t personally been there.
