To get some lunch

"Sure, let's get a little something to eat." Alex answers. They make there way to the small diner in the same plaza as the movie theater. Not only is it convenient because it's close to the movies. It's also wear Carl works as a server a few days a week. They'll get free drinks if they go there.

It's only a short walk into town. They talk but Alex doesn't just pay attention. He's distracted by Becca's look. When they get into the diner, It's not very busy, and it seems only Carl and one other server are working. The two sit down in Carl's section. Carl walks up to the table. "Hey guys, food before a movie?" Carl pull out his order book.

"Yeah, we have time to burn." Alex picks up a menu.

"Both getting cokes?" Carl ask.

"You know what we want." Becca laughs

Carl walks away from the table, then returns with 2 cokes. "You guys getting your usual? Rueben and fries for Alex, pecan chicken salad with italian dressing for Becca?"

"Yep" Alex and Becca say in unison.

Carl writes it down and disappears into the back. He comes back out and sits at the table next to Becca. "You guys are my only table so I'm just gonna chill."

The friends talk for a bit and then Carl goes and gets there food. In the middle of eating, a woman comes out the back and walks up to the table. "Well Carl, since we haven't had a table in a while, you can go." the manager tell Carl.

"Well looks like I'm off now" Carl laughs.

"Come to the movies with us." Becca blurts out. This catches Alex off guard.

"You sure? I don't want to third wheel." Carl questions

"We're all bestfriends, your not third wheeling." Becca sounds so cheery. "Right Alex?" She turns to Alex.
