To expand the mind you must be free of preconceptions...

"...a limited mind is a weak mind," I heard Xander say as I nodded off.

While he talked my brain worked on the SAT problems, so I didn't hear what he was saying. Don't be limited. Don't judge your friends. New things are exciting. For the most part I drifted off.

"No," I heard Cordelia say and for a moment I actually woke up a bit.

I could see Xander was still waving the crystal and had a smile on his face, but something was bothering him. "It was just a hypothetical."

"I can't see...you and Willow...it would cause," Cordelia murmured.

"Never mind," Xander dismissed. "Let's talk about something easier. Let's talk about clothing and being relaxed. Say I was..."

I then drifted again back to the SAT numbers.

"I love to be hypnotized and won't tell anyone about these sessions who isn't involved," Cordelia and I said at the same time as we woke up.

"Feeling better?" Xander asked. There was a little bit of nervousness in his voice.

"Yeah, great!" Cordelia said excited.

I could see Xander relax. Something bothered me. What had he been asking her about? Something with Willow?

I was going to follow up, but then he took off his shirt.

"Just getting comfortable," he said as way of explanation.

I thought about saying something, but I just shrugged. Being comfortable was good. I shouldn't get hung up things like him having his shirt off. Just normal behavior around friends.

I thought about taking my shirt off as well, but decided against it. My clothing was sexy. It was important for Cordelia and I to be sexy. It gave us confidence. Xander could focus on comfort.

I did unbutton a few more buttons though.

We actually did some studying then. Xander as well, though he was clearly way behind us. He said the stress was bothering him so much that he needed to take off his pants.

"That's silly," I told him, "if the pants are causing stress you should have just taken them off at the beginning."

He chuckled, "I'll remember that next time, Buff."

Time seemed to fly by and pretty soon we were calling it a night. He gave us both a friendly nearly naked hugged. It felt good, like always. He also slapped me on the ass. I giggled, what a funny Xander joke.

Cordelia didn't feel as comfortable with the hug. Well, she looked flushed, clearly she had enjoyed it, but it felt like something was off for her.

Probably just nerves from all the studying.
