To Catch a Fly

Metropolis skyline the roof of the Costmart store, Mindy Church stands looking at the sky as the sun sets, shes preparing like an actress before a performance she lees over the side of the building. Mindy takes a sharp breath and begins to wail crying into the night sky "WAAAAAAAAAAH, IVE HAD ENOUGH OF IT ALL, I DON'T WANT TO LIVE...".

Elsewhere in local Metropolis eatery Lois and Clark were having having a conversation over dinner when Clark hears Mindy's cries and sits confused, suddenly distracted from his conversation "Clark..." Says Lois "I asked you a question..." "Um sure Lois". The food had barely arrived and he was already having to make his excuses.

Meanwhile back on the Costmart roof Mindy looked perplexed checking her watch where is he, she thought? She cranked it up a notch "OOOOOOOH I'M DONE WITH THIS WORLD, HERE I STAND ON THIS ROOF OF THE COSTMART...IN METROPOLIS AND I'M GOING TO KILL MYSELF BY SUICIDE, BY JUMPING OFF THE ROOF OF THE COSTMART...TO ****" a little on the nose she thought but the do gooder had to come and save the day.

Back at the restaurant Clark could hear Mindy again he's far from an idiot he could sense something was off. Lois and Clark had been investigating Mindy for a while but it was almost mpossible to pin anything on her. He couldn't escape the feeling she was calling him out he looked up at Lois "I'm so sorry Lois I suddenly feel unwell..." He pretended to dryheave...the other diners in the restaurant noticed the waiters were trying to assure the patrons it was nothing to do with the food. Oops thought Clark I better leave a good tip "I'm sorry Lois but I have to go" he reaches into his wallet pulls out a stack of bills and throws them on the table...Lois looks on in disbelief "You're leaving me here? You're unbelievable Kent" she sighs and sticks a fork into a tomato on the plate imagining it's Clarks head. Clark dips into a nearby alley looks around no-one is there in an instant he's changed into his iconic suit and hits the sky like a bullet.

Mindy is now dangling precariously on the edge when in an instant there's a WOOSH the **** of which nearly knocks Mindy off the side but Superman grabs her. She grips onto him a genuinely terrified look on her face clinging to his body "OH SUPERMAN WHY DID YOU COME HERE?". The stoic hero looks at her blankly as she removes her coat revealing an incredible black dress her breasts heaving, her shapely toned legs he averts his gaze "To stop you making a big mistake, whatever issues you have killing yourself isn't the answer I promise". Mindy turns away "You don't understand Superman, finding out my Billy was the head of intergang, running a multi national corporation, being the most charitable woman in Metropolis and being beautiful it's a terrible a burden". Superman places a hand on her shoulder "It can be hard but this isn't the answer you're doing a lot of good Mrs Church perhaps you could find someone to help shoulder the responsibility?" She looks at Superman "I haven't had a partner since my silly Billy passed how could a woman like me find love?" "Surely a woman as...beautiful and rich as you would have no trouble finding a partner?" She smiles "You think I'm beautiful? Like most beautiful women I'm a prisoner to my looks nobody takes me seriously and my vast, vast wealth means I can't fully trust the motives of any man. So now you see why I must end my life". She motions towards the edge again Superman grabs her arm "I can't let you do that Mrs Church". "WAIT!" she says with a sudden burst of inspiration "You think I'm beautiful and you're the most trustworthy man in metropolis perhaps you and I..." Superman smiles softly "Mrs Church, I'm not the answer to your problems, why don't I get you down from here". Her face drops her vanity had **** her to try and seduce him without the perfume this was the second time she'd been turned down in as many days...we'll see about that she thought. Her demeanor changes to a smile "You're right Superman I dont know what came over me just let me freshen up first" she reaches into her designer bag and pulls out a perfume bottle she begins to spray herself allover and then catches Superman in the face, his nostrils flare as he breathes it in. Mindy watches in nervous anticipation, Superman shakes his head as if he's trying to clear the cobwebs. He looks at Mindy she's breathing hard causing her breasts to move back and forth, he notices the wind ruffling her skirt just enough so he can almost see her panties his mouth is agape. Mindy slowly approaches Superman and jumps into his arms "I'm ready Superman...take me" hes just staring intently. "Superman..." She says trying to get his attention, "Yes Mrs Church..." "Please call me Mindy, this is just a thank you for saving me" she kisses him hard on the mouth she was waiting for Superman's reaction, he reciprocated his hands exploring her body when suddenly she stopped him "if you ever want to reconsider that date according to the daily planet I'm Metropolis's most eligible wom..." Superman kisses her mid speech he buries his face into her chest "Oh Superman, take me home" in an instant they're gone into the night sky. Mindy strokes his face as they fly over Metropolis "My Hero" she says.
