Tired of waiting

Fuck this. You've been down in the Fowlers' living room for way too long now, and you're tired of waiting. It's not like you haven't been here before. Hell, you know every one of the Fowler siblings intimately, there's no reason for them to hide from you.

You take off your shoes and hang your coat by the door. Then you climb your way to the top of the stairs.

There're noises in the hallway, muffled and indistinct. But you can definitely tell that they're coming from Emily's room.
