Tifa's past, and Cecil's struggles.

The five are propelled through the Void and find themselves waking in a land of metal and electricity. The buildings are little more than shacks, made of trash and broken machines, all cobbled together in rough dwellings. Above them if a large expanse of metal, blocking out the sky. In the distance, a large pillar can be seen, holding up the plate. As they look around, Tifa shakes her head in wonder.

"This place. I never thought I would see it again."

"Do you know this place," asked Cecil, stepping close. Tifa nodded but said no more. She began walking down the path, littered with trash and mechanical parts. Fran reaches up and covers her nose as she followed the raven haired woman.

"This place smells bad. Not just from the trash but something else. Something seems to be draining the life of the very earth."

"Those would be the Mako Reactors. They drained the planet dry of its life ****. We stopped this though! Midgar was..." She shook her head and kept walking as the others followed after her. Cecil felt somewhat frustrated. Cosmos had put him in charge, but here they were following after Tifa, and she wasn't making much sense. What was a Mako Reactor? And what was this place? It all seemed so strange and the lighting wasn't natural. Was it some form of corrupted magic or a new form of lamp?

Ace and Quistis were not surprised by the electricity, but they were not sure of the term Mako Reactor either. But unlike Cecil, it didn't bother them. Ace was busy trying to decide how their team could function. He was thinking in terms of combat. The rabbit woman had a bow and arrows on her back, while the woman in glasses and the dress had a whip. Their "Leader" had a sword and shield, but by the look of them, they were more for ceremony than actual use. If he was a true warrior, then the kingly attire wasn't what he had taken into battle. Then there was Tifa. She had no weapons and Ace couldn't feel any magic coming off of her. She was a wild card to him.

But there was more. He had noticed his own magic had been weakened quite a bit. Probably a side effect of this "Chaos World" they now stood upon. That could be dangerous for them. He had noticed Quistis and Fran looking around and assessing the place for threats, but they were apparently in some kind of back alley and there wasn't much around. He could hear people talking in the distance, but wasn't able to make out what all was being said.

When they finally made it out of the alley, Tifa stopped and stared at a crowd standing outside of her old Seventh Heaven bar. Standing on the bar's steps were some people, and they were trying to calm a crowd of very nervous people.
