I get to the grind. University life is... Well, it's different than community college. Way bigger classes, for one. And the professors seem more cutthroat than the ones I had before. But that could just be personal experience. Good news, everything's paid for! Bad news... What the fuck kinda classes did Kyu saddle me with?

Marketing, art history, a class dedicated to medieval Europe. I mean... I guess 2/3 being interesting is close, but... Something tells me this semester of University isn't going to be as useful for my future as I'd hoped.

I stumble through the door to my dorm room after some exhausting hours. There's stuff strewn about, not mine, so clearly I have a room mate. No idea who yet. I get only a little time to think on that. I've got no real work to do quite yet, and I'm sure Valery knows that. She knocks on my door a little while later, and we go out for dinner.

Proper out, mind you. I mean, sure, it's just B-dubs, but I'm pretty easy to please. Valery seems to have had a busy day though. She seems wiped. "Honestly. You'd think since it's just the semester transition things wouldn't be so chaotic. Nope! Every dipshit wants to make my job difficult. Oh well."

I'm not sure Valery realizes that Kyu's not really looking out for her here. What the fuck is she doing?! While I'm sure that Valery really is touched, I can tell from Kyu's wink that she's not here to play my wing-woman anymore. The rest of dinner is awkward for me, but thankfully Kyu leaves us alone as we head back to Prahesa. She's made one thing clear: A simple no isn't gonna turn her away.
