This Entire Infiltration Plan Was A Bad Idea

You are frozen in place. They know who you are. They even have Kin, naked and leashed, in the room with you. There is no hiding it now. You feel sweat starting to form on your palms.

"Sit down, Jonathan." He says the same quiet tone. A voice that expects compliance. "We're not going to hurt you."

You look down at the chair. No way out of it. From your seat, you're only a few inches away from Kin. She stares at you with round eyes.

"You knew the entire time?" You cough.

"Not everything. No." He folds his hand on the desk and meets your eyes. His behaviour is not effected at all by the presence of a nubile and nearly naked woman so close to him.

"We knew you weren't Sam Rockwell. Obviously. We check these things. But, who you were in actuality? That was a fascinating mystery. Art students of middling background are not on our radar. We suspected you might be involved in the competition. So we decided to see."

"But, then you reacted with shock when you saw sweet Kin here." He places a hand on her rump and rubs it softly. The girl whimpers slightly. "A plausible enough scenario. We let her have a looser leash then others. Naturally the next check was to review her recent contacts and acquaintances. Thus, you."

"I see." You say slowly. Something wells up inside of you. You don't like the casual way he's handling Kin. It seems...wrong...

"So who are you, exactly?" You blurt out.

"We'll get to that, Jonathan." He keeps his eyes trained on you "Let's talk about you. Why are you here?"
