This Bond movie needs some work.

You have the movie start as it did originally, in North Korea, but you do three important overall changes.

First, you improve the budget for special effects and set design substantially, so that the military equipment show is no longer on the cartoonish side.

Second, you darken the tone of the movie substantially. This will be the first of the more realistic bond movies, and the first to be rated R. A request Pierce Brosnan made for this film, one you are going to grant.

You are going to start with the more gritty tone of the Bond movies that started with Daniel Craig’s work now, and get grittier, and sexier.

Third, you reduce the use of gadgets, as this made Bond movies a bit silly on your eyes over the years, and you increase the sexual content, in-line with the work you have been doing.

Outside of that, you hope to help this be a better film. You don’t want anything Halle is in to be bad.

You had noticed that Shannon Elizabeth showed up on IMDb for this movie, but before you really started pushing the boundaries of what could be put on screen in terms of sex. She had her career derailed by some duds, an improvement of this movie will help her as well.

You watch the movie as it is, and you are pleased at how it has changed from what you remember.

You decide this movie will have a lot of sex, but almost all of it for Bond. You will keep any scenes with yourself to a minimum. This will be about demonstrating acting range, not just sex.

You follow the normal start of the movie in North Korea, but with a significantly better set design and better budget for effects and props.

Now when the scene plays out and Bond is captured, it will feel much more real. Viewers will feel the chilling cold of the place they are in.

Bond ends up being captured and then released, and taken back to MI6, and taken before M, who suspends him of his 00 status, fearing he may have given up information under ****.

Bond is haggard and thin, looking more frail than ever seen on film before. He cleans up, getting a shave and a haircut, as well as much better clothing befitting a person of his station. But the thinner look is unmistakable.

Bond escapes London as in the original film and chases the villain to Havana, Cuba, where he runs into Halle Berry’s character.

Halle is striking as she exits the water, in an iconic scene, but you take it a bit further and have her walk out of the water topless, and wearing a much smaller bikini bottom.
