They took the fight to the rebel leaders in the capital

With their powers activated, Edward and Amakir covered their entire bodies with blue fire and glowing icy ray respectively.

Edward makes it rain blue fireballs on the rebels while Amakir fired freezing blue rays from her hands to all enemies she encountered.

While the Blessed Ones are doing the majority of the work, the local garrison and the soldiers loyal to the Queen also made significant contribution in defending the town as well.

By the evening, the rebels have been defeated. However, they remained in Edgartown for the time being since they did not know that the capital has been occupied by the rebels' main army at the moment.

The Mayor, the captain of the local garrison and the commander of the battalion have the surviving rebels interrogated about what is going on. At first, they refused to speak. But after some dead threats, they confessed.

Upon knowing that the capital is being occupied and the rebels' victory could potentially lead to Darkland joining the Holy League, Edward and Amakir immediately approached the commander of the battalion of the royalists that came to aid them earlier with Ingra, telling him that they needed to go to the capital and save the Queen at once.

Believing their words, the royalists set out along with Edward, Amakir, Soora, Ingra, Nyx and Dreyvel along with some volunteers among the refugees and the locals of Edgartown to liberate the capital and save the Queen.

However, Edward and Amakir know that there is not enough time since the palace can be breached anytime. So they decided to use one of their powers and fly to the capital to settle things by themselves.

In less than an hour, both of them reached the capital and found the rebels' battalion is besieging the Royal Palace at the moment while the rest of the rebels and the mercenaries are scattered across the capital, covering the ground to ensure the military occupation.

Edward and Amakir landed right in the middle of the besieging army, scattering many troops away in one go.

After an intense staring in silence, Edward and Amakir charged toward the rebels' army, intending to defeat every single last one of them.
