They start to probe
"So how do you like it so far?" Lorri asks. "A little change from the Marine Corps I guess."
"Just a little," you laugh. "The uniforms are different for a start."
"I bet they are," Donna laughs heartily. "Although I'd like to see Rose and Chanel in fatigues."
Lorri chuckles and you give a smirk at the thought of the entitled young girls of Pink Rose going over the obstacle course at Parris Island or humping a pack over a twenty mile march.
"You and the headmistress seem to have come to terms," Lorri says. "I never thought she'd buy into going back to paddling students. You've got a hell of a lot of influence, whether you know it or not. You've got friends in high places."
"My old CO is on the Board of Regents. He's the reason I'm here."
"We figured that out," Donna says with a nod.
"What we didn't figure out was why?" Lorri adds "As in why did he want you here?"
