They present themselves for their evaluation.

The league building was an impressive skyscraper in the middle of Central City, standing in front of the entrance, K-T could see flying heroes taking off or landing from the various balconies of the higher levels.

Even with them being children of super heroes they needed to pass their evaluation if they wanted to join the league. K-T was sure that, as embarrassing as it was, his alternate form's strength and resilience would probably enough to have him registered. And his sister's power affecting people's metabolism was always an automatic pass.

Emily had been lent one of their mom's first superhero spandex suit from when she was younger. The blue with yellow lightning bolt motif wasn't really on point with her powers (their mom controlled electricity and could trigger storms), but it looked great on her. In fact, like most girls wearing this type of costume, it actually looked like it was painted on their body, which had been source of much embarrassment whenever his mom was in costume around him.

K-T had hoped that his dad would make him the same offer and that he could go through evaluation looking like a hero too, but he had rightfully pointed out that none of his costumes would survive K-T's transformation and that it was better to let the engineers of the league create a custom solution for him. He had still given him an old tracksuit he no longer used, none of K-T's clothes being good enough to look presentable at the league. He had chosen to wear only the tracksuit and shoes, seeing no point in destroying some underwear and a t-shirt that he had in short supply, but he was beginning to regret it, fearing that he might have to remove his suit at some point.

Inside the lobby they went through some security checks and after telling a guard why they were here for, they were led to the side and into another private lobby, where a clerk greeted them.

"Welcome to the League of Guardians headquarters, what can I do for you?" he asked them.

"We are here for our evaluation. We have an appointment." explained Emily.

"Oh, right." he replied, after using a scanner on their identity chip. "Follow me that way. Your parents have requested that you are evaluated together, that won't be a problem I hope?"

"We have awakened our powers recently and my brother needs the help of my powers to use his own more easily." She explained.

"It has happened in the past, twins often develop complementary or synergetic powers. Let's go to the testing grounds to meet your evaluators."

"Who is going to test us?" asked K-T, trying to prepare for what to expect.

"Streamlash and Mirage. Here we are!" the last door he had opened lead to some huge room probably five floors in height and as large as gymnasium. One side had a bunch of weights and treadmills, a third of the room was some sort of obstacle course with some dummies scattered across it and the last part was set up as a sort of arena for the combat evaluation.

"We are going to be testing your physical capacity, power output and combat rating here. I wasn't informed that any of you has any technological or esoteric powers that needs to be tested in another setting, so this will be your entire test. If I'm wrong please inform me now." he asked them, seeing them nod he continued. "after your test is complete you and provided you pass, you will go to the 69th floor to visit the costume and marketing department to help you with your hero names of the, suits and persona."

"Soooo those are Redstreak and Shatterbolt's brats. Not looking like much. What do we have here?" asked Streamlash, taking a clipboard from the clerk who had led them here. The busty hydromancer had systematically been ranked lower than their mom in the various top sexiest heroine lists of the last two decades and held a grudge against her because of that.

"Metabolist and transformation power, lame !" said Mirage, reading over her shoulder. The hooded heroine whose face had never been seen was a powerful illusionist, able to mess with all the senses of her adversaries. To the point that there were rumors that she could even mind control people by making them believe that her words was their ideas.

"I get why you are tested together. He can't even transform by himself right?" asked Streamlash.

"We awakened our powers literally yesterday, we didn't have time to train. It's only an initial evaluation for our registration. But you're right. So far he can't control his transformation."

"Since he doesn't have any powers in his regular form he'll need to transform to be tested. And transforming him will also be your first test. Go!" instructed Mirage.

Emily reacted quickly making her hands glow of a blue light and before K-T could blink he started to bulk out. In an instant he had grown a foot in height and was covered in bulging muscles. His orange skin was glistening like it was oiled and like in the forest the day before he was sporting a boner that would put a horse to shame and a pair of baseball sized nuts to go with it. He knew he'd risk damages to his clothes, but he had not imagined that. The old tracksuit of his dad, emphasis on old, had completely disintegrated during his transformation.

Streamlash and Mirage both bursted in laughter and couldn't stop themselves for nearly a full minute.

"This is going to be so much fun," whispered Streamlash to Mirage once she caught her breath.

"It sure will be," replied Mirage. The testing was recorded in order to insure the fairness of the evaluation. After seeing what happened Mirage made sure to backup the video to her private server. Being a hero didn't pay a lot unless one is lucky to get sponsors and deals, she on the other hand increased her income by running an anonymous website with embarrassing videos of Vilains and Heroes (a lot of them faked or caused by her illusory powers).

K-T was really embarrassed and didn't really know what to do. As humiliating as stripping before his test would have been he'd at least still have something to wear to go home. Now he wondered if the league would have something to lend him or if he would have to leave wearing only his Superhero costume once he got one.

"Alright, time to be serious. Let's begin the evaluation," announced Mirage.
