Chapter 31 by reaper13
How does tonight’s dinner go?
It is tumultuous
John entered the refectory earlier than usual and made use of the extra time to enter the kitchen and warn the cooks that a high-demon would be present. Being mostly demons themselves, they quickly understood it was in their best interest to provide some high-quality culinary art. After that, you went back into the refectory, took a chair and relaxed. Your thoughts drifted to the two nuns you had already fucked. Two done, two to go. Who would be next? Your primary prize, Angelica? Or will you first get another appetizer with Jennifer?
Suddenly the door opens and a red skinned demoness with obsidian horns and large black leathery wings steps through.
“This place is sub-par.” Sariel complains. “I honestly can’t fathom how you can stand living in a place like this.”
“When I grew up, I had to live in hiding. Compared to what I had in my youth, this place grants me greater luxury then I am used to.” You explain. “Besides, I don’t intend to keep the place like it is now. Once the blueprints are done, I’ll start construction of a new wing. That one will focus on luxury and splendor.”
“Right.” Sariel says as she comes to stand close to you. “I’ll just stay in one of those ‘mansions’ you say the counts live in these days until your new wing is done. Have you already decided which one in particular you’ll be gifting me?”
“The county of Tierfol.” You tell her without hesitating. “The count who originally owned it has been captured and imprisoned. I’ve already sent out the paperwork to usurp the title from him. Once it is mine, I can gift it to whomever I want. Which will be you.”
“Good.” Sariel says as her eyes study the tables you are sitting at.
She notices they are lined up in a row with you sitting at the head. The 6 chairs for your guests are all arranged on the side of the tables.
She then scowls at you and says, “You’re joking, right?”
“I haven’t had many high demons as friends.” You explain. “I am merely trying to expand my knowledge by studying your reaction.”
Sariel rolls your eyes at you, then calls out for a few imps to attend her. She orders them to grab the table you are at and turn it 90 degrees. Once the tables have been reshuffled, she grabs one of the chairs and places it next to you.
“Today you shall have the honor of being seated at my side.” The she-devil announces.
Then she sits down, at the head of the table, which you now share with her.
Soon after Jennifer, Angelica and Talith join you at the refectory. As they take their seats you notice Jennifer takes the seat furthest away from Sariel. Seems like Sariel made an impression on her none the less. Perhaps it is for the better. But even with all of you present, Siara is still not here.
After a few minutes of waiting Sariel speaks up and asks, “So what are we waiting for?”
“Siara is still not here.” Jennifer replies, scowling at the she-devil.
“This Siara …” Sariel asks. “Is she more important than me?”
“She isn’t.” You quickly answer before Jennifer can accidentally insult Sariel again. “We were just giving her a chance to honor you by being here when we start. But we can’t make someone as important as you wait forever.”
You then turn to the maids and tell them to start bringing out the first course.
It is only when you are finishing the soup that Siara finally enters the room. When Miryam sees abbess’s appearance she is surprised, then she looks at you. Despite having quickly figured out you fucked the abbess, she says nothing and gets back to her soup. Jennifer on the other hand was so surprised about Siara’s horns and darkened features that she jumped out of her chair.
“No.” Jennifer said as she started shaking her head. “Not you too.”
“Jennifer, I can explain.” Siara says.
“You don’t need to explain! You’re one of them now!” Jennifer yells at her abbess with tears in her eyes.
Siara tries to talk to her, but Jennifer has no interest in listening. She runs away, using a different exit to get out of the room and disappears into the nunnery.
After her tumultuous entrance Siara takes a seat and starts explaining the reasons for her appearance. She says that after Talith joined their holy order, the succubus and her had a lengthy conversation. From it, she deduced that a good deal of demons might be into following her lord. They just need some motivation to give scripture a chance. If Siara being half demon could convince these demons to open themselves to scripture, she felt it was only right for her to do this.
You of course know this to be a lie. So do Talith and Miryam. Sariel couldn’t care less. Jennifer has already left. So really, the only one you need to convince is Angelica. The albino nun was quick to tell Siara she does not agree with her. But Talith defends Siara’s story by saying it is all true. Miryam then speaks up and agrees with both Siara and Talith, joining them in their lie. After a lengthy discussion, Angelica’s misgivings seem to waver. She’s not quite convinced, but as long as doubt has started to set in it is good enough.
After dinner, Angelica and Siara both head out to the chapel for their evening prayer. Miryam and Talith head for their rooms. Sariel heads for your room to take for herself. That of course leaves you without any room to retreat to for the night.
How do you get a decent room for yourself?
