They get cozy together

They sat together, looking at the sky and talking. The stars were coming out and lucky for them, there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

“Oh, look,” Mark said, pointing up into the sky.

Jamie looked up but didn't see it, so Mark put his arm around Jamie and pulled him close and kept pointing. Just in time, Jamie was able to see a streak of light before it was gone. Mark left his arm around Jamie's shoulders but Jamie didn't really register it.

“Make a wish, I'll make one too,” Jamie said closing his eyes.

Mark looked at the girl he was sitting with and couldn't believe his look. He was nervous but he decided to just go for it and leaned in to kiss her.

Jamie had selflessly wished for Mark to find a woman to share his life with. It was at the last moment that Jamie turned his head toward Mark, not knowing what he was doing. Their lips touched and they shared a kiss. Jamie's mind failed to turn, not really processing what was happening as Mark pulled away and smiled at him. Jamie smiled in response and realized the goof he just made. Jamie giggled nervously at his blunder but Mark just rubbed his hand to assure him that everything was okay.

“I'm really glad we did this tonight,” Jamie said, moving on from the embarrassing moment.

“Me too,” Mark said.

“You are a lot of fun to spend time with. Would you like to get together again sometime?” Jamie asked hopefully.

“I'd love to,” Mark smiled.
