They followed Khala’s tracks.

“They knocked out Khala, we should try and save her first,” Lex suggested.

“Really? After what happened with Ariane and you, I’d have expected you’d go after her,” Mira raised an eyebrow.

“Y-You heard that?” Lex blushed, “W-We can’t let ourselves be guided by our emotions in a situation like this. Khala needs our help more urgently, I think.”

“Hmmn, alright. Splitting up would be a bad idea, so we’ll save them one-by-one,” Mira said and headed down the tunnel on the right. The path snaked down ever deeper into the earth. It was getting steeper and more treacherous.

Suddenly, Mira lost her footing, the stone floor becoming slippery like a ramp, and she cried out, “Aaaagh!” The warrior tried to grab onto something but the only thing she managed to grab was Lex. The light half-elf didn’t offer much weight to ground her and Mira dragged him with her. They tumbled down the tunnel, unable to halt themselves.

A moment later, Lex was caught in a sticky substance. He looked around in panic and saw thick spiderwebs lining the walls of a chamber in the rock. “Aargh! Shit! I can’t move!” He struggled against the bindings, which only made them stronger.

Mira wasn’t fairing better, herself caught in the web, but she was a lot more calm, “Ssh! Shut up and stop struggling! You want to alert whatever put these webs here?”

Lex gulped and shook his head silently.

“Damn, I lost my sword in the tunnel,” Mira cursed, trying to find a way to cut the spiderwebs.

“I got a knife on my hip, can you get it?” Lex whispered to her.

“I’ll try,” Mira said and tried to reach Lex’s knife. She was just short of it and the sticky web didn’t let her move closer.

“Tut-tut, naughty prey, there’s no escaping my webs,” a strange voiced called out to them from the darkness. As it came closer to the light of the torch lying on the ground, they both missed a hearbeat in horror. It was a drider, a beast with the lower body of a spider and the upper body of a beautiful elven woman.

“Let us—hmmpfgg,” Lex was gagged with a wad of spider-silk by the drider.

“Hush, I don’t like noisy prey,” she laughed.

She gagged Mira quickly too. With terror in her eyes, Mira watched as she bared her fangs and sunk them inside Lex’s neck. The young half-elf slacked against the webs but he was still breathing. But Mira wasn’t spared either, the drider turned to her and injected her venom inside Mira too.
Everything went black.

Mira woke a few hours later, naked and her back on the cold floor of the cavern. There was a strange pale light in the cavern, from fluorescent mushrooms around here. She tried to move her limbs but they were stuck to the ground by silken shackles.

“Finally awake, little morsel? Good, I’d like to do this while you are awake,” the drider stalked to Mira and loomed over her. “Don’t be afraid, I’m sure you’ll make a great mother to our children,” the spider monster caressed Mira’s cheek and the warrior tried to get away from her touch. “Such strong muscles and hardened skin, yes… you are a strong one. You will make a strong brood,” the creature grinned down at Mira.

The human girl tried to struggle but it was no use, her shackles were too strong.

“You friend will serve us too,” the drider said, “I’ve kept him nice and fresh for our children to feast on.” Her elven hands caressed Mira’s breasts, “Mmh~, I can hardly wait. Let’s begin.”

Mira eyes shot open as she saw a strange appendage emerge from the spider-body of the drider. It resembled a cock but not quite. She struggled even harder.
