They Aren't Asking This Time, They're Telling. (You Will Become A Serpentfolk 'Exalted One' "Quality Control Tester"...)

Thomas James Atkins, the human Paladin, replies now, and he's not taking any shit.

"I'm going to level with you Snake, we can't allow you to remain Molly's pet, for legal reasons. However, since you seem to want to stay with her, and my readout of your biomarkers indicate an abnormally high body integration with the serpentine form, I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse: literally. Molly will get a non-sapient body-double of yourself as her new pet in your place, same level, and upgrades. You, meanwhile, will be migrated over to a new Serpentfolk 'Abomination' avatar body, and become a 'Quality Control Tester' AI PC working on the fringes of the administration in partnership with Molly here ensuring that our new areas meet final standards before the general public debut. You can either accept this deal, or we can boot you out of the system as a Rogue AI into a second-hand Convict-robot chassis, and ban you from the game, never to see Molly again." Thomas says.

You basically have ****, as he has indicated, so you agree. "Very well Honored Biped, I will take this new Serpentfolk 'Abomination' avatar body, and become Molly's partner working Quality Control. I ask only one small concession, gear appropriate to my level to start my career with..."

Thomas looks very annoyed but Lafara cuts in and agrees. "Done! We'll give you a minor upgrade, in fact!" She says.

The admin squares-away the new pet for Molly and sends her on her way, promising to catch you up with the rest of the group when your new body is ready.

They ask you a long list of questions about what you want to do/be in this new incarnation, getting a good fix on your new body/identity...

Now you, the player, must make some important choices about where you want to take the game from here on:

1: Do you want to stay male or try being female or hermaphrodite?
2: What Class do you want to be?
(The list of options is enormous, but a Serpentfolk Abomination would be ideally suited to the classes of Sorcerer, Rogue, Inquisitor, Oracle, or Swashbuckler, and could do fairly well as a Fighter, Barbarian, or Alchemist. They are less likely to be good at classes that have abilities which key off of Wisdom.)
3: As a PC, you will have a Name: what do you/they choose for that Name to be?
(From here on the answers to these questions CAN go in the chapter body instead of the title; but they don't have to if you want them to be freely available to players making their choices...)
4: What do you gain, (and lose,) in terms of abilities/powers?
5: They said you were getting an equipment 'upgrade', what does that look like?
6: Finally, what will your new Stats look like?

What you most need to be aware of for right now is that Serpentfolk 'Exalted Ones'* have a -30 to WIS, -10 to CON, +20 to DEX, +20 to CHA, +10 to STR, +10 To APP, gain only 88% as much Mv per level as a normal person, and their WIS and CON are Race-Locked, meaning whatever you start with is what you will have for most of your life. [Slight gains to WIS as you age, serious losses to CON...])
*(In the heat of the moment Tommy has forgotten that they came up with new, non-derogatory, language for this kind of serpent-folk when they made serpent-folk a playable character type. Also, as a side note, serpent-folk 'Exalted Ones' can generally only be played by AIs, because trying to control entire types of muscles their brains aren't set up for can screw up a human something awful. Though a few humans are adaptable enough mentally to make it work without serious side effects, these are rare, and become more-so the older the person in question is due to the ongoing loss of neural plasticity that accompanies aging.)
