They've stumbled into a harpies' nest!

Up in the trees, the two nude humans can see about a dozen giant nests. Some are empty, others have enormous eggs in them. But its the contents of others that leave Hilda and Hunk scared.

About a third of the nests have harpies in them!

The bird women seem to be busy preening themselves, decorating their nests, and otherwise going about their day to day life. So far, none of them seem to have noticed their visitors.

"Step back, slowly and quietly," Hunk whispers to Hilda.

She nods wordlessly as they carefully back away, never taking their eyes off the bird women...
