There is an additional opportunity before the start

There is one pair with a dilemma of their own. The guy, with a beanie, searches his wallet while the girl in the tube dress scrounges through her purse. "Oh, come on, come on, we've got to have more than that!"

"Nope, that is the entry fee. If you don't have it, you don't play," says Jared to the pair. They redouble their search but Jared has an idea. He looks around the rest ready to proceed, "unless someone wants to sponsor them that is."

They look up hopeful, "tell you what if someone is willing to pay the extra twenty you need, your in." A few are hesitant, it would mean more player but another twenty. Jared then adds, "if they do, they start with an extra point and you'll be starting with one less point."
