The technology wasn't perfect.

As the two of them started their hunt for either Belle or some clothes, she still couldn't calm down. Vibit and her were the only ones that knew the truth--that she was actually entire nude. Now that the sun was out, people were coming outside. They passed by her on the street. While they only saw a nice blue dress, she felt the chill of the wind against her bare body. And if anyone were to bump into her, they'd discover the clothes weren't real as well.

Thankfully, the dress seemed to shape itself around her body, so her chest wasn't clipping through, or anything else. But it wouldn't help if someone were to suddenly pat her on the back! Even her rapier was strapped to part of her pants, so all of that was still with the sylvari.

She tried not to look it, but she was paranoid, and constantly looking around herself. All the while, Vibit followed, and both enjoyed the view and was eager to continue observing his invention. It wasn't complete, so any data was helpful.

Eventually they were stopped by two young human men that she didn't recognize. By the looks of it, they weren't entirely sober, despite it only being the middle of the day. They whispered to one another before one stepped forward to confront the pair. More specifically, just Jinny. It wasn't entirely clear if either even noticed the tiny asura nearby.

"Hey there," the boy started. "So, my friend and I were having a bet. He said the gods really did leave us, but I said that couldn't be right. If there were no god, I couldn't find a goddess. But there's one right in front of me."

Jinny chuckled. "That's actually really funny! Thank you. I need to get going though. I'm meeting someone."

"You're meeting someone right now, beautiful. Just have a quick drink with us." The boy stumbled closer.

If he touches me, he'll go straight through my dress, she thought as she backed away. She stepped back and bumped against the wall. The device clipped to her behind scraped against the stone, and she hoped nobody noticed the dress briefly pass through the wall.

Meanwhile, Vibit cringed at the crunching of the device he worked so hard on.

"No, I really need to go. Thank you though. I'd love to some other time. Meeting new people is my favourite thing," Jinny said.

"I think that's a no, bud," the other boy finally said, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Good try."

"Aw bummer," he mumbled.

Jinny breathed a sigh of relief. She looked down to make sure nothing was clipping through the dress again before she left, but then she noticed something. The dress suddenly disappeared, but only for half a second. She rubbed her eyes, wondering if it was just her imagination. Then she looked up, and the two boys looked just as confused.

After a long pause, it skipped again.

"Vibit!" she whispered loudly.

"You cracked it on the wall!" he whispered back.

"Woah. I didn't even see that little guy there," the one boy said before laughing hysterically. "That's crazy! But were you just like, naked for a second?"

"Of course not," Jinny replied quickly. "That doesn't make any sense."

"I guess it doesn't. I think I've drank too much."

Once again, it skipped. This time it occurred twice in a few seconds. It was like the projector was slowly dying after she had accidentally damaged it. What was she to do about it? The two of them were currently on a busy street midday, and people were looking.

"I saw her titties!" the one boy announced. "I know I did!"

The first one reached towards her. "It's this dress, man. Something's up."

This is really bad! she thought.
