The stranger calls

You are about to start the car when your phone rings. You hold up your phone and do not recognize the number. Jessie and you look at one another before answering.

"Hello?" you say tentatively.

"That was a fine show to be sure you two. A good dose of sperm right into your poor unsuspecting sister," as expected it is the stranger again.

"Look you sick bastard, we did what you asked now change us back," demands Jessie.

"Ha ha, not yet. She might not even be pregnant after all," the stranger continues.

Your heart sinks, "what do you mean 'might not be''?"

The stranger laughs again, "I said you had to get the next girl you see pregnant. I said nothing about making sure the next girl you see would even be fertile."

"You mean we did that for nothing!" you yell at your phone.

The stranger only finds your anger more amusing, "certainly not. It was highly entertaining and who knows? Maybe she is pregnant? You'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out."

And just like that the stranger hangs up leaving you and Jessie in stunned silence. Neither of you move or say anything for a long time. It is a mail van that pulls up that finally breaks the silence. You decided to drive off before the mail girl gets out to start delving packages.

Before driving off Jessie asks, "do you think it'll be enough?"

"I hope so," you say as you start the car.
