What's next?
The start of something
Bitter Springs once was an NCR refugee camp for civilians trying to escape the NCR-Legion war. However due to the interference of the Courier; Bitter Springs fell to the Legion and became a Legion slave camp. The Legion left a decent military presence.
The Courier looked around for a while; looking for someone, though with little urgency. The camp guards went about their day performing their normal duties guarding and punishing slaves that fail to do their duties. Angel look through the group of slave with a passing glance until one catches her eye. It was the former Captain of the camp, Gilles.
The Courier had helped the Legion to capture the civilians and dispatch the NCR presence. Angel had defeated Gilles and spared her life; though she sadistically gave her up to the Legion. Gilles fate was to be a slave to the Legion.
Those thoughts in the back of your head continue to nag on you. Angel pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind. Angel walked up to Gilles. Gilles had long lost her uniform; it was replaced with slave rags. A slave collar grips Gilles' neck. Angel grabbed Gilles' head and yanked it so that her head was face-to-face with Angel.
"Hello bitch, How is your life under the Legion" Angel said as she grinned sadistically, "You failed these people in the camp. They are slaves because of the "Bear's" failure, your failure."
Giles looked into her eyes; anger could be seen in her eyes. She held her tongue, knowing that Legion reprisals for disobedience and back-talking were harsh. Gilles knew what was coming and she knew that she should say something, before any reprisal.
"The bears still lives... just not in the Mojave," Gilles said meekly.
Angel scoffed at Giles, "The NCR is dying and the Legion is only quickening what is inevitable."
Angel left Giles to her master and left Bitter Springs for Nellis.
