The spirit is willing, but the bullets are cheap.

It's the end of the world. You'll have to be able to make hard choices to survive. If Derek's the demon, then it's either him, or all of you.

Taking a deep breath, you swiftly pull out the pistol and aim it right between Derek's eyes, pulling the trigger before anyone has a chance to react. To your shock and horror, you hear a loud click as the gun misfires.

Derek lets out an inarticulate cry and stumbles backwards, looking at you as though you've lost your mind. Amanda screams, while Mick stares in shock.

"What the hell, man? What the fuck is wrong with you?" Derek yells out angrily. That's... not the response you were expecting from a demon whom you've just unsuccessfully tried to kill.

You're about to turn to Maya to ask her some hard questions, when a spray of bullets forces you and the others to scramble for cover. The four of you manage to dive behind one of the cabins without getting shot. Peaking around the corner, you see Maya advancing on your position while firing away with her pistol, a psychotic grin on her face like she's playing a really cool video game.

Ducking back behind cover, you work the slide on your pistol, ejecting the jammed round and getting the gun ready to fire again. Leaning back around the corner, you fire off five shots; your aim isn't the best seeing as how you're being shot at, but one of your shots manages to land a glancing hit on Maya's thigh, causing her to stumble and drop to one knee, crying out in pain. Unfortunately, she's still strong enough to raise her arm and continue shooting in your direction.

You and the others take the opportunity to run for it, dodging and weaving around the cabins in the hopes of losing Maya, before finally diving into one of the cabins for shelter. It turns out to be the one Jake and Warren had staked out; the two of them peak their heads out of their rooms and stare as the four of you scramble inside and slam the door shut behind you.

"What the fuck's going on? We heard gunshots!" Jake calls out.

"This asshole here just tried to shoot me!" Derek yells out angrily. "Then Maya started shooting at all of us. This is fucking crazy!"

"Maya told me you were a demon!" you shout defensively. "She said she saw you get rid of the silver weapons and the cross yesterday!"

"What? That's crazy! I never did that!" Derek yells back at you.

"Everybody, quiet! I think I hear her!" Amanda cries out, quickly silencing your argument.

Sure enough, you hear Maya's voice calling out from outside. Quietly, the six of you sneak over to one of the cabin windows and peak outside. You see Maya patrolling around the camp, searching for you, while cheerfully calling out "Come out, come out, where-ever you are! Come out, it's time to play! Come out, IT'S TIME TO PLAY!" She's clutching her injured thigh with one hand and limping slightly, but still looks in dangerously good shape, with her other hand still clutching her pistol.

"What the fuck? Does that mean Maya's the demon then? How come she hasn't revealed her true form or whatever by now?" Mick asks out loud.

"It doesn't look like she even is a demon. It looks like she's just lost it!" Warren proclaims.

Amanda shakes her head, confused. "No, no, no! Maya and I have been friends since forever. I mean, sure, she always danced to her own tune, but nothing like this! "

You gotta admit, Warren sounds right. If Maya were a demon, you're pretty sure she should have been able to just shrug off your bullet. Not to mention the fact she should have revealed herself by now. So, what does that mean? That she's just crazy? Did the stress of the situation cause her to snap, or is she just taking advantage of the end of the world to play the sort of sick games that she always wanted to but never could?

After more than a day of fighting your way through the supernatural sex demon apocalypse, this is by far the craziest thing you've seen. What the hell are you going to do now?
