The Zenthek's scraping of their own dimension was relentless, but their universe was vast. For millenia they scrutinized their world, carving out every piece of the void for even one more hidden image. And ten thousand years after the first, their struggle was rewarded.
This anomaly was not like the first, much more subtle. Not at outright shaping but instead a texturing.
By anticipating the passage of nodes to a certain accuracy, they could compress the rings that defined their world against each other by abusing this nearly arcane force. With tighter rings of fabric to react to, a clearer image of adjacent worlds could be gleaned by proxy.
With this method, the "mass" of our world could be examined with a similar level of scrutiny to our own world's perspective, only given the Zenthek's obsession, this task was given much wider scope.
What was found was a slight disturbance in what appeared to be the "skin" of their universe. Analogous to the effect of dye on flesh in their own world.
Upon a seemingly random stretch of the border of their world, was a string of text imbued into the surface.
Their pattern recognizing algorithms quickly hurried to translate the text, and the outcome of this task was live broadcasted for the whole of their united universe to see...
